Most AA Labels address labels are easy to over print with your inkjet printer or laser printer. Please check that the material you require is suitable for over printing with your inkjet printer, laser printer or photocopier.

Free Labels Templates for 65 Labels per sheet sticky labels in Microsoft Word or PDF format are available on the AA labels website. Every template has been measured and marked out to perfectly fit. Simply ‘cut and paste’ your text and/or design into the space for each label, then hit print. If the print of your labels is too high/low or left/right then you should alter the page margins by clicking File>Page setup>Margins to correct the position of the print.

Most of the A4 printers have an accuracy of plus or minus 1mm. So, design your labels while keeping this in mind. Also, try to avoid using borders around the perimeter of the label because any printing inaccuracy will show up.

If the position of the print is getting progressively worse down the page or across the page then it is the label size or the gap between labels that is wrong, so please check the size in the template first. If the size is right then you need to increase or decrease the gap.

If you still have problems please contact the AA Labels Helpdesk team who’d assist you in resolving this problem.

The most common reasons for this problem may be either unclean rollers of your printer or the rubber on the rollers has lost its density. We suggest cleaning the rollers of your printer with an alcohol based solvent first. If that’s not the problem then you may need to replace the rollers. When the rubber loses its density it loses its ability to grip the labels sheet and therefore it will not feed.

In some cases there can be compatibility issues with the label sheets and printer. One of the most common reasons why paper jams occur is unclean printers. While printing labels, the paper may jam near the exit. This may be due to unclean rollers of your printer at the exit tray. It is recommended to keep the inside of the printer as clean and dust free as possible. It is suggested to use a lint free cloth and some alcohol based cleaner to clean the printer. Make sure you are using clean printer paper. We recommend you clean your printer every six months or so. Usually cleaning should be done every time you change cartridges.

In some cases there can be compatibility issues with the label sheets and the printer. If even after cleaning you are experiencing the paper jam please call 01733 588 390 and our customer service team will guide you.

Different types of label materials can endure different temperature ranges. Please contact our Helpdesk for details and you can also request for free samples to check the materials in your desired temperature range.

Round labels are widely used for labelling spice jars, bottles, food packaging, and can also be used to make envelope seals. Round labels are available in a number of materials, colours and adhesives. Following are some good design ideas for when you want to make your own round labels for your home or business.

It can be done in some cases but it is not advisable. The printer compatibility is clearly mentioned on the AA Labels product pages against each label material.

Therefore, you should avoid using inkjet labels in your laser printer. There is always a chance that some inkjet labels can melt in the fuser of laser printer because of the heat generated by the heat roller that can cause damage to the printer.

Some of the labels can be printed with inkjet/laser printer or copier. However, some materials are specifically for laser printers, some for inkjet printers while others can be used on both. Mostly glossy and fluorescent materials do not print on inkjet printers, whereas transparent labels do not print on lasers.

The printer compatibility is listed next to each of the label material on the product page. Please have a look at the printer compatibility of your label sheets before printing them otherwise you might waste your sheets of labels.
